The user can convert the string value columns into label-based indices.
Step 1: Once data is imported, click on transformation.
Step 2: Drag and drop the encoding node onto the main screen. Connect the two nodes. (Refer to the image below).
Step 3: Once a successful connection is made between ‘data import and encoding’, click on the select button. A pop-up appears with the columns present in the data.
Step 4: The user is now able to choose the desired columns.
Step 5: Click on ‘Apply’. (Refer to the image below).
Step 6: Once the columns have been selected, click on the run button or the encoding node twice to run the workflow. Click on the icon in the bottom line. (Refer to the image below).
Step 7: The images of the before and after have been given below. The Columns selected to be encoded are “Manufacturing Price” and “Month Number”. The data is reflected based on the operations selected. (Refer to the images below).
Note: The user can run the workflow for individual nodes as well.
